Krei Network Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
‍By accessing or using KREI Network (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.

‍2.1. The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content and content source via our “Media Listener”) are and will remain the exclusive property of KREI Network and its licensors.
2.2. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

‍3. User Accounts
‍3.1. Registration Process:
a) When you register on KREI Network, you are creating a personal user account.
b) Access to registration areas is provided through your email address and password.
c) By registering and using the site, you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions.
d) You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.
3.2. Account Access and Security:

c) You will not seek to pass yourself off as another user or impersonate any person or entity.
3.4. Account Termination:
a) If, for any reason, we believe you have not complied with these requirements or any part of our Terms and Conditions, we may, at our discretion, cancel your access to the registration areas of KREI Network immediately and without notice.
b) We reserve the right to refuse registration, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content at our sole discretion.
c) We reserve the right to disclose your identity or other information about you to any third party who claims that material posted by you violates their rights.
3.5. Account Inactivity:
a) We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that have been inactive for an extended period.
b) Prior to such termination or suspension, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact information associated with your account.
3.6. Data Protection:
a) The personal information you provide during registration will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
b) You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
3.7. Communication Preferences:   
a) By creating an account, you agree to receive communications from KREI Network related to your account and the Service.   
b) You can manage your communication preferences through your account settings. By creating an account on KREI Network, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these account terms and conditions. Violation of any of these terms may result in the termination of your account and access to our Service.

‍KREI Network publishes material submitted by registered users only. We accept no liability for any user-submitted material published on our platform and are not responsible for its content and accuracy. Authors and contributors have a responsibility to ensure that their work upholds the reputation of KREI Network and the broader community of experts and researchers.
4.1. Content Ownership and Licensing:
a) You retain full ownership of any original content you post, upload, share, store, or otherwise provide to KREI Network ("User Content").
b) By submitting content, you grant KREI Network a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, and distribute your User Content across our services and platforms.
c) For public content, you grant both KREI Network and other users a license to access, use, and interact with that content as permitted by our service functionality.
d) You may terminate these licenses by removing your User Content, but KREI Network may retain archived copies.
4.2. Content Standards and Ethical Principles:
a) Copyright and Originality: You warrant that your submitted material is your original work or that you have necessary permissions. Content should be free from plagiarism or intellectual property infringement.
b) Quality and Legality: Your content must not be obscene, offensive, illegal, or deliberately upsetting to other users. It must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
c) Non-Infringement and Defamation Prevention: Ensure your content doesn't violate third-party rights or defame any person. Inform us of potential defamatory content at submission.
4.3. Content Review and Verification: KREI Network implements an internal review process for non-research content, which may include fact-checking and expert consultation.
4.4. KREI Network's Rights and Disclaimers:
a) We reserve the right to refuse publication, remove content, or restrict service access at our discretion.
b) We do not endorse user content and disclaim liability for user-provided content.
4.5. User Responsibilities:
a) You are solely responsible for your content and its consequences.
b) You agree to indemnify KREI Network against any third-party claims resulting from your content.
c) Act in good faith and assist with any legal claims if requested.
d) Maintain your own content backups.
4.6. Community Standards and Feedback:

b) Any feedback you provide may be used by KREI Network without obligation. By submitting content to KREI Network, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms, conditions, and ethical standards. ‍5.1. KREI Network operates a "Media Listener" that curates and presents content from various third-party media sources. Our Service collects and displays headlines, images, or snippets of content published by these sources.
5.2. Content Collection Frequency:   
a) KREI Network accesses and collects content from monitored media sources every 24 hours.   
b) The exact timing of content collection may vary and is subject to change without notice.
5.3. Attribution and Source Recognition:   
a) All content presented through our Service is clearly attributed to its original source.   
b) Our Service provides direct links to the original articles or content on the source's website where available.   
c) KREI Network respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and media organizations.
5.4. Disclaimer of Responsibility:   
a) KREI Network does not create, edit, or modify the content collected through our Media Listener.   
b) We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content sourced from third-party media outlets.
c) KREI Network expressly disclaims any liability for defamatory, offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise problematic content that may appear through our Media Listener.
5.5. No Endorsement:   
a) The inclusion of content from a particular source does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by KREI Network.   
b) Users are encouraged to critically evaluate the information presented and to refer to the original sources for full context.
5.6. Copyright and Fair Use:   
a) Our Media Listener operates under the principles of fair use and similar doctrines as recognized by applicable copyright laws.   
b) We respect the copyrights of content creators and will promptly respond to any valid copyright infringement notices.
5.7. Removal Requests: If a media source or copyright holder wishes to have their content excluded from our Media Listener, they can contact us with a formal request.   
5.8. User Interaction with Media Content:   
a) Users who click on links provided by our Media Listener service will be directed to third-party websites.   
b) KREI Network is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites.
5.9. Content Longevity:   
a) Content collected by our Media Listener may be displayed for a limited time.   
b) We do not guarantee the availability of any specific piece of content for any particular duration.
5.10. Service Modifications:    
a) KREI Network reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Media Listener at any time without notice.    
b) We may add or remove media sources from our monitoring list at our discretion.
5.11. Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify and hold KREI Network harmless from any claims resulting from their use of the Media Listener or any content accessed through it.

‍6. Prohibited Uses
‍You agree NOT to use the KREI Network to:
6.1. Publish or share any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
6.2. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
6.3. Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
6.4. Impersonate or attempt to impersonate, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with KREI Network, a KREI Network employee, another user, or any other person or entity. 

‍7. Limitation of Liability
‍7.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KREI Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
7.2. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the Service and will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the content.
7.3.. "As Is" Basis: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, expressed or implied.
7.4. KREI Network does not warrant that:
a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location;
b) any errors or defects will be corrected;
c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components;
d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

‍8. Indemnification
‍You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KREI Network, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

‍9. Dispute Resolution
‍9.1. Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim against KREI Network, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@krei.network. We'll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission, you or KREI Network may bring a formal proceeding.
9.2. Arbitration Agreement: You and KREI Network agree to resolve any claims relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration.

‍10. Changes to TermsWe reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
